On the program this time, our Olympic juggernaut continues from the world of swimming. Mission’s Brent Hayden has proven to be one of Canada’s outstanding athletes of the past 25 years. Not only is he a multiple Olympian and a world record-holder, he also has a burger named after him in a Mission pub!

In part one of our interview with Brent, we find out about his journey from failing swimming lessons to the world championships and Olympics. Of course like any good story, Brent’s story is not paved with silk and he’s certainly had his share of potholes along the way including the unfortunate Athens Incident. Brent explains what happened that night in Fitspeek 128.

Also on the show this week, Abbotsford Triathlon Coach, Mikey Ross stops by for another Top Five List. He’ll be giving us some timely advice on the benefits and the challenges of exercising with a new friend. Here it all by pressing play below.
